Sue has lived in Essex since 1996 with her husband and their two daughters who both attended Essex schools. She previously served on the Selectboard and Essex Energy Committee and contributed as a participant on the Thoughtful Growth in Action work group. She helped drive the completion of the conversion to LED street lighting in the town. Sue is a certified Project Manager and has worked in technology for more than 30 years at IBM, Efficiency Vermont, and as an independent consultant. She manages projects that have positive impacts globally and in Vermont in the IT, Cybersecurity, Healthcare, and Energy industries.
Sue has also served on the Board of Directors for PMI’s Champlain Valley Chapter as the VP of Programs. Sue is an alum of the Leadership Champlain program, which has deepened her connection with more amazing people, communities and needs in Vermont. In her free time Sue likes to swim laps, walk her yellow lab, solve puzzles, snowshoe, and read.
